The StackHaus Methodology

Engineering transparency,
not marketing claims.

Every StackHaus home is built to published engineering standards, inspected by third parties, and documented to a level you can take to your insurance carrier, your lender, or your building department.

How We Build

Four pillars of every project.

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF)

We build every structural wall in reinforced ICF — interlocking EPS foam forms filled with steel-reinforced concrete. The result is a monolithic wall assembly that is continuous, air-tight, and structurally homogeneous. No studs. No cavities. No weak joints.

Single-Source Design-Build

Architect, structural engineer, permit runner, and builder sit at the same table from day one. Design decisions are validated against structural, cost, and permit constraints in real time — eliminating the change-order spiral that plagues traditional design-bid-build.

Fixed-Price Engineering

Every line item in your fixed price is backed by a takeoff: material quantities, labor hours, permit fees, and contingency. The number you see is the number you pay. If we miss something, we absorb it — not you.

Third-Party Inspection

Every pour is inspected by an independent ICC-certified inspector before concrete arrives. Rebar layout, form alignment, and concrete slump are documented with photographs and filed to your project record. You see what we see.

Tested Performance

Numbers, not adjectives.

These are the engineering benchmarks our wall assemblies are designed and documented to meet.

Fire resistance

4-hour rating

ASTM E119 — walls survive sustained fire exposure without structural failure.

Wind resistance

200+ mph

Designed to exceed Florida HVHZ and ICC high-wind standards.

Flood & moisture

Non-combustible core

No wood to rot, no cavities to trap moisture, no mold substrate.

Energy efficiency

Up to 60% less

Continuous insulation + thermal mass = dramatically lower HVAC loads.

Code & Standards

Built to published standards.

ACI 318 — Structural Concrete (American Concrete Institute)
IRC / IBC — International Residential & Building Codes
ASTM E119 — Fire Resistance of Building Materials
ICC-ES Acceptance Criteria for ICF Systems
ASHRAE 90.1 — Energy Efficiency in Buildings
NFPA 1144 — Structure Ignition Zone Guidelines

30-year structural warranty.

Because our walls are reinforced concrete, not wood, we stand behind the structure for three decades. If the structure fails due to a defect in our workmanship or materials, we fix it. That's not a marketing promise — it's in your contract.
